1789) Genesis is one of my favorite books of the Bible. There are so many passages that are fascinating to me and there are lessons to be learned within each chapter. For example, when Cain killed his brother, Abel, I clearly see how people can start with one disobedience and it often snowballs into actions as serious as what Cain did.

Genesis 1:1 gives a clear message. It is simply, In the beginning, God…No one else existed. No one else manipulated energy to set off an infinite bang. There were no apes which started the evolution of humans. It was just God.

Only a God, who is the great I Am, can do the things he promises in his word.
