1778) Fear is a powerful thing. It can dominate our hearts, minds, souls and bodies. It can mean the difference between success and failure. It has the potential of taking control of every aspect of our lives, but it doesn’t have to.

One thing that has helped me battle fear is 2 Timothy 1:7. It says God has not given us the spirit of fear. This means God is not the source of this powerful enemy.

Jesus said plainly in the Sermon on the Mount that God would not give us a stone or a snake when we need food. Matthew 7:9. God does not give us things that are bad for us.

When fear tries to take us hostage, remembering God did not create it.
