1733) Like it or not, we all have reputations. If someone asked those around you what you are known for, what do you think they would answer?
No, I don’t think other’s opinion of me is most important, but my reputation is, especially if I claim to be a follower of Christ.
In Acts 9:36-37, people knew a woman named Dorcas for her good works and acts of charity. Her reputation reflected her heart.
If you saturate your reputation with fulfilling your promises to God and others, it communicates something important. Just like not doing what you promise tells a different story.
Perhaps it’s a good thing to occasionally evaluate if you truly live by what you say you believe.
