God also has a level playing field. Paul tells us in Romans 2:11 God shows no partiality. The word for partiality in the Greek is prosópolémpsia. This word means favoritism. God does not play favorites.

Can it sometimes seem like God is partial? Yes, it can, but when we remind ourselves that we aren’t seeing things as God does, then as our faith strengthens, we can trust him more.

God plays on a level playing field. Trust him.
