The Consultant

1674) From time to time, usually when walking my dog, I reflect on the person I am now, versus when I was 20. There is so much I now understand that I thought I did then, when in reality, I did not. I have wished there had been some way to have had the wisdom I have now then. Oh well….

When I find myself in difficult circumstances, I’ll often wish to consult with someone who has been through life a little longer than I have because I know they may have more insight than I do.

This is why Revelation 1:9 is important. Here we read God is the one who is and who was and who is to come. God knows all about everything, including our difficulties and limitations. It makes sense to consult him.
