Caesar’s Household

1668) Have you ever been reading your Bible and see something you may have missed for many years? I have. One such example I found in Philippians 4:22.

In this verse, Paul is signing off on his letter to the church in Philippi, something I quickly scan through. On this day, however, I noticed verse 22. Here, Paul says, All God’s people here send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.

What I saw is there were Christians even within the household of the most powerful (and often corrupt) man in the world at the time. This is significant to me because I am reminded there are followers of God everywhere and God has allowed them in surprising places to do his will.

I am learning to trust God has appointed some of his children to jobs (economically and spiritually) to carry out his plan. Trust this is so.
