1666) If you want to find out what time it is, there are a plethora of resources. You can, of course, check your smart watches, your phone, the clocks in your cars, stoves, electronics and more. It seems like time is right in our faces.
Time has also changed. If you need to contact someone, a text takes seconds. If you need to find a recipe, a few clicks with the fingers is all it takes. Don’t know when a store opens? You can find out in a blink of an eye.
We truly live in a world that has become fast-paced. The hard truth is we become programed to this pattern in life and God rarely operates within it.
Galatians 4:4 tells us in the fullness of time, God sent his son. This “fullness of time” means God waits (and remember the day is like a thousand years thing in 2 Peter 3:8) until the exact moment to act. This can be a tough swallow when we’re used to an instant world and yet, God often tells us to wait for him. Psalm 27:14.
This type of waiting involves faith and trust. God will act in the fullness of time.
