1658) When I was a child, I won a coloring contest at the local 7 Eleven. I won 25 free Slurpees. For me, that was a prize of great value. Now, there are contests, raffles and giveaways everywhere, though I don’t find I have much luck with them. However, if we just participate, we can all receive the giveaway found in Proverbs 11:25.

In Proverbs, we learn if we offer blessings to others, such as “water,” then we will receive the same in return. This kind of reminds me of the giving principle; when we give to others, we get so much back.

Sometimes we need to give to others the very things we need. There is always a blessing waiting in the wings if we do so.
