1584) As I think back to Christmas Eves of my childhood, I remember how difficult it was to wait for Christmas morning. Going to sleep was hard but when we woke up the next morning, it was worth it.
In Psalm 130:5, we also see something that’s difficult to wait for and that is waiting for the Lord to return and our yearning for heaven.
If we, as God’s children, don’t have this anticipation, don’t beat yourself up about it. It’s often just simply because you do not know enough about it. Wouldn’t this be a good thing to do today?
