1446) What would it mean to you for someone you look up to and respect to sit down with you and say, “Tell me what’s going on in your life? I’ve blocked out the entire afternoon, just for you.”? I have had this happen once and when I saw this person’s face, full of caring and concern, looking me right in the eye, ready to listen, joy filled my soul.

If I were to remember Deuteronomy 10:14-15, I’d realize I have not had this experience only once, I can have it every minute of every hour of every day. God tells us in these verses the heavens and earth and everything in it are his, yet he sets his affection on us. It is God saying, “Tell me what’s going on in your life? I’ve blocked out all of eternity just for you.” We are his #1 priority.
