1434) The internet has brought many good things to the world. We can communicate with family anytime we want. We can search for a recipe that uses the leftover we have in the refrigerator. We can apply for jobs and so much more and yet, this powerful tool can dole out misinformation.

As a teacher whose master’s degree is in technology, I teach my students they need to check the credentials of websites they want to use in their research. It’s a valuable skill to learn so they can be assured of correct information.

Jesus is speaking to his followers in John 8:32, stating he is truth and this truth will set them free. When we seek truth and are truthful within, this is when we can drop the chains which have held us captive. This frees us.
