1430) There have been times in my life when I’ve fervently begged God to bring healing for myself, family members, pets, friends, etc. After these prayers, I look to see whether or not God has answered them.
Some healings are obvious, such as when Jesus healed the blind man in John 9, but others are not. Isaiah 57:15-19 tells us of these less apparent ones.
In these verses, God promises healing to those who are crushed in spirit. He will also revive courage and heal the rebellious. It says here that God will bring healing using comfort, enabling his people to praise him. These are healings within our hearts.
Recognizing the healing God does within us will nurture a spirit of gratitude, a pleasing offering to God.
Have you thanked God for these less obvious healings within you?
