1427) In my classroom, when the kids are waiting for their buses to be called, they have interesting conversations. I work quietly at my desk and they sometimes forget I can hear their conversations, even when I don’t want to. When the kids think no one is listening outside of their audience, it would do them well to remember I often overheard them. It would also do us adults good to remember this, too.
In Malachi 3:16, it tells us when God’s children speak to one another, God listens to what we say. This may not be a problem with many of our conversations, but what about those we would be ashamed of had we reminded ourselves God listens?
Having a God who listens to us is such a blessing yet, it should also be a warning.
