Public Speaking

1412) Speaking in front of a group of people used to horrify me. I remember in the eighth grade; I had to do a science report in front of my class and I was so scared, my face broke out in hives. Now, it doesn’t rattle me at all. Why? Because I’ve had to do it so often, particularly when I taught Bible, I’m used to it.

Would it surprise you if I said all of us speak in front of groups of people every day? Well, we do. Our actions are the words we speak and those who are around to witness these often hear an obvious message.

1 John 3:18 tells us that how we love others speaks louder than anything we can say. Why? Because what we say and do is based upon what we believe.

What does your audience hear from you?
