Contagious Behaviors

1409) I had a serious case of shingles several years ago. The blisters on my face were hideous and when I went to multiple doctor’s offices, people in the waiting rooms moved away from me, probably thinking whatever I had was contagious. I wasn’t, but they didn’t know that.

Today’s verse, Proverbs 11:17, reminds me of this because when we are kind to others, people tend to be kind in return. When we are cruel to others, we will experience nothing good. Our actions, good or bad, are often contagious.

Perhaps getting shingles taught me a worthwhile message.
