1370) Throughout history, countries have used spies to gather information about an enemy. After all, this information can give you an edge and a strategy on how best to deal with them.
John 8:44 gives us knowledge that is very important about God’s enemy and ours. This verse tells us not only is Satan a liar but the Father of Lies. This means, however he spins things in our minds; he enriches it with lies, and with a more deadly weapon, half-truths.
John 8:44 also tells us Satan is sort-of a Pied Piper. If we buy into his lies, we will naturally follow in his footsteps and they do not lead to the throne of grace.
This verse also tells us our enemy is a murderer, seeking to devour us and anyone else. (1 Peter 5:8)
Finally, it also states boldly that Satan hates truth, and this means he hates Jesus who told us he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (John 14:6)
Here is your enemy; no spies needed. The wise will make strategies on how to deal with Satan and the good news is, God gives us the power to do so.
Make the conscious choice to deal with Satan because not dealing with him is deadly
