1365) From time to time, we’ll watch a program where someone is looking to buy a home, usually on the beach. These buyers will frequently say they want a property where they will be able to keep their eyes on their kids from the house while the kids are out playing in the sand. This is understandable; kids need to be supervised.
There is comfort and security in knowing you are being watched in this sense. Psalm 32:8 tells us God is actively supervising our lives, allowing some things but not others.
Reminding ourselves that God has his eye on us holds comfort and security.
