It may be when grief barges into your life and someone simply sits beside you, saying little. These sorts of things help give you courage, encouragement, and the strength you need to continue on in this life.

In Romans 8:31, we read that God himself will take our side. It is he who stands beside us, protects and encourages us. It’s easy to forget that God is on our side because we don’t see him, but he is there; taking our side.
