1349) Have you ever heard a child say they are bored? A better question may be, have you ever been bored? I can’t remember the last time I have and as I consider this, there is good and bad to it. If I’m bored then perhaps, I’m not taking some responsibility I have seriously. If I’m bored, it may be a sign I need to move on to another job God has for me. Good and bad.

Paul tells us there’s a good outcome of boredom in 2 Thessalonians 3:13. It can spur us on to do good for those around us. If you feel your life isn’t making a difference, you can get more involved in your church. You can volunteer in your community. You can bake tasty things for someone who needs cheering. There are so many things we can do to bring good to others.

As I watch the news and social media, it’s apparent that all of us could use a little more good in this life.
