Last Days: Implacability

1308) Soothing. Isn’t it a wonderful word? To be soothed is what many seek. Why? Because we live in a world that is harsh and will continue to be more so as time passes.

I yearn to be soothed after a tough day. I’ve learned what I need for this to happen and do my best to meet it, knowing if I don’t, the frustration, stress and weariness will not go away on its own.

Paul tells us in the last days, people will be implacable. I can see the signs of this already when I read, or even witness, road rage, angry outbursts and even violence such as mass shootings.

We cannot change the behavior of others but remembering that we need to be wary of implacability within our own lives is prudent.  2 Timothy 3:1-4
