On the Hunt: Faith

1289) I don’t know how you fare, but as soon as something breaks down and I take it for repair, the warrantee has just expired. Even so, warranties are important and it’s to your advantage that you are acquainted with the terms of this contract.

In 2 Timothy 2:22, Paul tells us to pursue or hunt for faith. The word faith here is best described as reading God’s warrantee of promises to us and knowing, choosing, and believing we can come to him with anything that even hints at invalidating said contract. It is in such pursuits that we can stand firm in God’s principles and, therefore, have a more abundant life. (John 10:10).

Which is better; having a warranty that expires or one that never does?
