1278) As I approach my 60s, I consider regularly what I have accomplished on this earth. When I stand before God, will he say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant?” Matthew 25:23. I hope so.

1 Timothy 3:16 tells us after Jesus’ death and resurrection, he was taken up in glory. This word glory means honor. Jesus had completed what he came on the earth to do and he was and is honored for this.

Though we will not know what our impact on this earth is right now, we have a sense of whether we are living honorably.

Will you hear, “Well done?”
