Worrying

1198) I find watching people and thinking about what I see them do is very interesting. I draw many conclusions about them and, whether it’s correct or not, I believe what I think.

One thing I have observed is people do things for a reason. If they are constantly speaking badly about someone, perhaps they are often trying to make up for their own shortcomings.

If someone is a workaholic, perhaps the person cannot handle downtime. It may give them too much time to think about something they’d rather not.

Worrying is something else people do. I’ve wondered if it is really fear in disguise. Some dress up worry as planning but it’s still something we do to compensate for something else.

Jesus tells us not to worry about necessities. He promises God will provide in whatever way he thinks it’s best for each of us.

If we spend our time getting to know God, we’d realize He has all things under His control.

Don’t worry! Matthew 6:25
