1189) Working with kids for so many years, I’ve seen my share of cuts, scrapes and blood. Many times, when I’ve seen the most blood, it was on a child’s face. As most of us know, face wounds often look worse than they really are. Once we get the child cleaned up, it’s usually taken care of with a simple bandage.
Life can be this way, too. There are things that happen to us that, in the moment, aren’t really too serious but certainly feel like they are.
Life can seem out of control and can give us the feeling of hopelessness but looks and feelings can be deceiving. No matter how bad it looks and feels, God gives strength. He urges us to do the difficult things because we are not doing them on our own power. It’s all about Him. Habakkuk 3:17-18
