1159) Are people dependable? In my experience, I have found the answer to this question is 50/50. If there is something that’s important and needs to be done by a specific, short deadline, I must seriously consider if I can depend on those who are committed to help. I often wind up doing it myself.
There was a time when two people discussed a job or situation. They both committed to specific actions, shook hands on it and it was done. There was no need to follow up and make sure. If you are a person known to be dependable, it is a valuable thing.
Because people can’t always be counted on, sometimes I transfer this to God. Maybe he isn’t someone I can count on, but if I pause and reflect on my doubts, all I need to do is look in the past and see all the times God did what he said he would do.
