1118) The cosmetic industry is booming. It doesn’t seem to be affected by the economy. Nail salons, for example, are usually crowded and, taking a stroll down the cosmetic aisles of most stores, you can see numerous products on display. Why? Because most of us care about our appearance and what people think about it.

We spend so much time, money and energy on trying to make our bodies, something that is finite, look good or better, but God says He looks at our hearts. Maybe we should spend more time working on how it looks rather than what the latest product can do for us. 1 Samuel 16:7
