1060) There are very few things in this life that belong in the category of only one. Most things have over one way to get places, things and friends. This is good because we all are different and more than one way of doing things is better.

Because most things have more than one way to accomplish it, some have this applies to spiritual things. I have heard and read of many who believe there is more than one way to get to heaven and more than one God.

Ephesians 4:4-6 specifically states there is only one body of Christ, one Spirit, one hope (of salvation), one Lord, one faith, one baptism and one God and Father of all. Paul leaves no room for more of these things. Jesus, in fact, said this earlier in the book of John (14:6) that he is the way, the truth and the life–not multiples of these.

It may not be politically correct to say there is absolute truth, but God is clear that there is.
