The Importance of Relationships

971) Teaching has changed so much over the 36 years I have been in the profession. The changes in family dynamics have contributed to this greatly. But, despite this, there are some things that have remained the same and one of them is, if I love the students and take a genuine interest in their lives, my teaching is much more effective. The same is true with the desire to contribute spiritually to someone else.

In Acts 18:24-26, two Christians, Priscilla and Aquila, knew that relationships are important and they invite Apollos into their home to share some meals and time with them, allowing them to effectively share spiritual things.

Relationships are so important. Without them, we can share anything with others, but it will often fall on deaf ears. Take the time to build relationships with others. It can mean the difference between salvation and condemnation.
