Chaplain Miller smiled. He glanced at the (red) bottle, then held her gaze. “Sometimes it’s hard to have faith that the God of all the universe would care about the lives of his children. When I have paused to consider this, it is an amazing thing that I, one middle-aged man, whose life is but a blip in history, matter to God. Part of the reason I have these bottles is to help us to remember that God notices his children and cares. Try to get some rest. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
