878) If you grew up with siblings or around kids in the neighborhood, I’m sure you heard the words, “I’m gonna tell” many times. What did this message mean? It meant that someone saw something you did wrong, and they were eager to report you to your parents or whoever was in charge at the moment.
In Mark 5:1-20, Jesus heals a man that was demon-possessed. This man was infamous among the locals. When Jesus healed him, the man was so grateful that he wanted to leave with Jesus, but Jesus told him he had another job. What job? To tell others what Jesus has done for him.
These instructions are here for us today, too. We are to let others know what God has done in our lives. Does that mean we all become preachers? No, I don’t think so. Why? Because the only Bible that some people read is the story of your life. Please tell!
