862) In Matthew 9:1-8, the writer tells us something about Jesus that most of us know, but sometimes, because it’s so obvious, we don’t consider often. Verse 4 tells us that Jesus knew the thoughts of the people around Him. That little nugget of truth is important.

If you are a half-empty type of thinker, you can read that and say to yourself, Man, God knows everything I think. He’s going to be so unhappy, angry or ____ you fill-in-the-blank.

BUT it is also true, for those who are half-full thinkers, God also knows our limitations of understanding; our thoughts of worship or regret.

Either way, God knows our thoughts.
