Some may think, Come on, I don’t know of any other religion that can be purchased. Yet, this is a fact. When you have a system in place that outlines exactly what you must do, i.e. good deeds, confessionals, and social work, to name a few, this is exactly what “salvation” is purchased with. In Matthew 5:3, Jesus said that the “poor in spirit” are the ones who will inherit the kingdom of God. An inheritance is not a result of what you do; it’s because you are the child of the one who gives the gift.
