843) When God answers a prayer or gives us help or clear guidance, it’s easy to say, “God is so good.” But what about when God does not answer a prayer in the way we were hoping? What about when help doesn’t come in our timing? What about the situations where clear guidance is elusive? Is God still good?
In Matthew 4:23-25, many people follow Jesus because He spent a lot of time healing the sick and making others whole. Yet, it’s not long after this when many of these people turn their backs on Jesus.
It’s easy to praise God when things go our way. What’s more difficult is to praise God when things don’t. Perhaps we need to remember that God is good. Period. No matter what He may or may not do.
