We have the opportunity and responsibility to learn from the real-life instructions God has given us, both from His word and because of lessons learned experientially. In 1 Kings 3:1-15, God offers King Solomon any gift that he wished and he asks God for wisdom.

When I taught Bible to small children, I would often say, Knowledge is knowing stuff and Wisdom is knowing how to use the knowledge that comes our way.

Wisdom is a valuable gift and James 1:5 tells us it’s ours for the asking. So, ask!
