657) People throughout history have been interested in angels. If you walk through many big box stores, you will find evidence of them in books, jewelry, and cards. Owners of these stores know angels sell merchandise because they fascinate people. Some Christians say there is evidence in the Bible that ‘guardian angels’ exist. It’s an interesting subject, and I have read several books discussing angels’ purposes and place in this lifetime. You can get all caught up with other Christians on the specifics of angels, but in Genesis 28:15, as well as many other places in the Bible, tells us that God Himself, is watching over us. He promises He will never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 15:5) He knows where we are coming and going. (Psalm 121:8) God knows even the number of hairs on your head. (Luke 12:7) Angels have a job in this life and the next but compared to God, they are inferior. God does more than just guarding us. Thank God!
