590) Through the years, there have always been some influential religious leaders that preach a prosperity gospel. “God meant you to be blessed! He wants you to tap into His resources and really live.” The problem with this is multi-faceted but, simply put, God does promise us many things: protection, wisdom, strength but rarely prosperity in this life. Gideon asked God why bad things were happening to him – God’s chosen.
